An average patio on a 3 bedroom house takes from start to finish around 3 days. The first day is usually the messiest where we will try to keep it as contained as possible whilst we remove and / or extend your garden patio.

The second day is about laying the new patio including any extra features like steps, walling, lawns, etc....

The third day is normally just tidying up, cutting any sections of the patio as required and finishing off any intricate designs.

When it comes to your patio in Bridgwater there is generally 2 main options. Choosing a natural stone patio or choosing a manufactured stone patio. The two options are both very viable and it really comes to personal preference and longevity.

With manufactured stone, for examples slabs from Marshalls, they are cheaper than using a natural stone slab. It is laid approximately the same but because they are manufactured, they will fade in colour as time progresses. An average patio built with a manufactured slab or garden paving should last around 10 years.

With natural stone, the colours will never fade. You can in fact, replace your patio design multiple times throughout the years and reuse the stone again and again. It is more expensive than manufactured but the longevity of natural stone will always win hands down when compared to other options.
